Wow!! Coming from Toronto, this place knocked it out of the park! My partner and I order 2 small cones and a large poutine. With tax and tip, everything came out to be around 26. The small cones are not small at all! They are ginormous and was probably The equivalent to 3 ice cream scoops! The poutine was a hefty portion too (there was some mix up with the ordering so I think the owner/cashier gave us a bit of extra). The gravy and cheese were actually so tasty and the fries were properly fried and was quite fresh. Reasonable prices, great portions and walkable distance from the beach (there’s also parking and picnic tables). Beware that they only take cash and debit - 0.50 charge if you use debit for transactions under 5!
The poutine was incredible, with proper cheese curds. The service was excellent and friendly! Kelly's Cove is a must visit if you are in the area.
1st time trying and it's a damn good bacon cheeseburger!!! Homemade patties and fresh cut fries. Great service, very friendly and the prices are good. Mad at myself for waiting to try as I wasn't a fan of previous owners a few years back, but looking forward to a summer of enjoying some good food and seeing lots of choices on the menu.
We’ve been coming here for 10 years now! We camp at turkey point a few times each summer. We always prep our meals for camping to include a trip for dinner to Kelly’s. She happens to serve us 90% of the time! She knows us as “the girls” We were sad to hear she was selling last summer. Not sure if she did or not. We will miss her! Her staff was fantastic as well and food was always perfect! HUGE scoops of ice cream too!!
Best beach burger & ice cream place in Port Dover! A wide array of favourite takeouts with an ice cream parlour to match & outdoor patio space to enjoy! Ample parking or just a short walk from the main beach. Worth the wait & gorgeous drive to Port Dover and undoubtedly, the best double cheeseburger I’ve had since my stay in Port Elgin! Will definitely be back for that cheeseburger again but fries & ice cream a must to add! Cash or debit only.
Great little stop. Service was quick and precise! Burger was very good. Also had a Buffalo Chicken poutine, Excellent!! It is right on the main strip near the beach so it could be busy at times however I didn't feel like I waited long and the food was great. Very good prices as well. I'll definitely go back when I'm near Turkey Point.
It's real homemade-to-order food, so expect a wait, but it's always worth it. This place is better than anywhere in simcoe or delhi, hands down, and their menu is sizeable and comparable to local options. Stop here any time you're in TP, I know I do!
